Knife River is hiring for Crusher Maintenance and Heavy Duty Mechanic. Job summary: Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained, safely and properly perform maintenance on crusher, screens and or wash plant, including screen changes and routine maintenance. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations and problems, material quality, equipment operations and repair, etc. Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers, managers and supervisors, ensure MSHA, safety and environmental regulation compliance, perform other duties assigned. Minimum qualifications: Qualified applicants should have previous experience operating and performing maintenance on crushing or construction equipment, must have positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow directions, a basic knowledge of plant operations and maintenance, must have good mechanical troubleshooting skills, welding and fabrications skills, equipment operation skills, general experience. MSHA certifications are helpful and must have a valid drivers license.
