Elks Lodge: Drug Abuse Prevention Poster Contest

The Cheyenne Elks Lodge is seeking entries for its Drug Abuse Prevention Poster Contest. This contest is part of the Elks annual program to raise awareness about abuse and misuse of both illegal and prescription drugs. Artists of all ages and experience are welcome to enter this contest which offers two $150 prizes: one for a youth entry and one for an adult entry. To be included in the contest, entries must be submitted to the Elks Lodge, located at 100 East 17th Street, no later than September 28. Entries are to focus on one of three themes: Hugs Not Drugs; Find Your Thrills Without Pills; or I’ve Got Better Things to Do than Drugs. The size of the poster must be either 8.5”x11” or a larger size of 11”x17”. Information to be included with the submission is name, phone number, email and age. All of the entries will be displayed at the Drug Take Back Dinner to be held at the Cheyenne Elks Lodge on October 6.
