Community members interested in volunteering are encouraged to register through Saluting Branches at www.salutingbranches.org for the Saluting Branches 2026 Day of Service on Wednesday, September 16 at the VA Medical Center, 2360 East Pershing. Tree planting, pruning, tree removals, cleanup and tree inventory will be done by professional tree care providers and community volunteers.
