The Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum will host a full length documentary, created by Will Lane, Aloha Vaqueros: The Forgotten Cowboy Story which explores the connections between Hawaiian paniolo, Mexican vaqueros and the American cowboy tradition. The film takes viewers behind the scenes of the Aloha Vaqueros exhibit and the history that inspired it. The film created by Will Lane, an intern at the CFD Old West Museum who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication at the University of Wyoming, will premier on Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30pm in the museum at 4610 Carey Avenue. The museum would like to keep Will after his internship is complete. They are looking for sponsors interested in helping support Will’s continued employment.
