Cheyenne Fire Rescue would like to remind residents that fireworks are strictly prohibited within city limits at all times in accordance with the City’s Code of Ordinances Chapter 8.20, regardless of county burn restrictions. CFR encourages everyone looking for festive ways to celebrate the 250th to join the community at the Capital City Celebration event on July 4. This milestone celebration will feature family-friendly activities, entertainment, food and a safe, fun environment for all ages. The event will also include a professional fireworks show near the Wyoming State Capitol with Cheyenne Fire Rescue on standby for safety.
