Laramie County Master Gardeners is sponsoring Dr. Ken Kassenbrock, Colorado State University Emeritus Associate Professor of Biology, for a presentation on Mushroom Cultivation. The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 18 from 9:00am until noon at LCCC Center for Conferences and Institutes (CCI) room 130. The fee is $28 per person. Registration is through the LCMG.org website. There will be a lecture as well as demonstrations of how to cultivate a variety of mushrooms. Learn proper techniques for growing mushrooms and harvesting them for personal use. There will be a continental breakfast provided and at the end of the presention, a raffle for the different mushroom demonstrations that Dr. Kassenbrock will prepare.
