Professor Chelsea Escalante will present ‘A Spanish Page in Cowboy Country: Mexican Labor and Belonging in 1920s Wyoming.’ The talk will include a page from the Powell Tribune that discusses births, weddings, illnesses, etc. but also carried messages about productivity, respectability, obedience and assimilation.
