2025 Greater Cheyenne Greenway Spring Cleanup

Warmer weather is approaching, and the annual Greenway Spring Cleanup is scheduled for May 3-18. More than 70 groups, such as businesses, churches, schools, non-profits and clubs, provide regular cleanup along segments of the Greenway in both the city and county. Greenway staff ask that if anything has changed with a participating group’s contact information, Greenway segment preference or if the group is unable to continue with the program, contact Jeanie Shrednik, Greenway and Parks Planner, at 307-638-4379 or email jshrednik@cheyennecity.org. Participants should wear boots or sturdy shoes, long pants and gloves for clean-up efforts. Greenway staff can provide trash bags and light weight gloves upon request. Groups are asked to contact Cheyenne Greenway staff when their segment is complete and crews will pick up the filled bags from the side of the path following clean-up. For those interested in helping maintain Crow Creek, the Rotary Club’s Crow Creek Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 3. Volunteers should plan to do cleanup closer to, and even into the creek. For more information, contact Brent Lathrop with the Cheyenne Rotary Club, blathrop51@gmail.com.
