Delta Kappa Gamma will collect used books through February 23 for their 41st Annual Used Book Sale. The preferred collection spot will be the sale site in the former Big Lots in Cheyenne Plaza, 3501 East Lincolnway, next to the Trampoline Park. Hours at this site will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9:00am-1:00pm. Longer hours will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 9:00am-4:00pm. Collection boxes will be in Albertson’s at 5800 Yellowstone Road and 3355 East Pershing; Safeway at 700 South Greeley Highway; Gold’s Gym, 1616 East Pershing; Sprouts, 5214 Rue Terre; and the YMCA, 1426 East Lincolnway. If you are unable to deliver books, or have a large quantity, within a ten mile radius, call 307-630-3682 or 307-421-1755 for an appointment, leave a message. Books must be boxed or bagged for easy pick up and on a porch or in a garage. Books on CD, DVDs, games and puzzles are appreciated. Old text books, VHS tapes, condensed books and encyclopedias do not sell. Please recycle them elsewhere. The book sale is Saturday, March 1, 8:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, March 2, 9:00am-4:00pm. The second weekend is Saturday, March 8, 8:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, March 9, 9:00am-2:00pm at the former Big Lots in Cheyenne Plaza, 3501 East Lincolnway, next to Trampoline Park. If needed, a snow weekend will be March 15 and 16. The first weekend will have regular DKG prices. During the second weekend, customers buy a provided box for $10 on entry and may fill it.
