Celebratory Dinner of 100 Years of Eagle Scouts

A centennial celebration of Cheyenne Eagle Scouts will be held on the evening of Friday, October 25 at the LCCC Clay Pathfinder Building, 1400 East College Drive. Everyone is invited to join the celebration and honor those who have achieved this important milestone in Scouting BSA. One-hundred years ago, the first Boy Scout in Cheyenne achieved the rank of Eagle. To celebrate this landmark occasion, a dinner gala will be held. Everyone including Eagle Scouts of all ages, friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and members of the general public are invited to attend this event. The doors will open at 5:00pm and an hour of pre-dinner activities will include trivia games, demonstrations of Scout skills, socializing and a cash bar. There will be something to educate and entertain for all ages. A plated chicken piccata dinner will be served about 6:00pm followed by a keynote speaker. Tickets to the event are priced at $25 each and may be purchased by contacting Denise Parrish at 307-286-1463 or denisewyo@aol.com. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com/o/troop-101-foundation-94814104133. Any net proceeds from the event will be used to directly support Scouts in the Cheyenne area who might need a little bit of financial help to remain participants in the program. Donations may be sent to the Troop 101 Foundation, PO Box 4001, Cheyenne 82003.
