Starting February 21, eligible seniors will pick up their monthly (CSFP) Commodities’ Supplemental Food box from the new location at St. Joseph’s Food Pantry, 206 Van Lennon, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. These monthly nutritional boxes will be distributed every 3rd Friday of the month. They are also eligible to receive weekly groceries once a week from the pantry. The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a USDA program designed to improve the health of low-income people at least 60 years of age, by supplementing their diets with nutritious foods. If you are a low-income, 60 or older, or know someone 60 or older, who needs food assistance, they can get an application at the Food Pantry.
